This Instrument is among the last to be built by Thomas Dieffenbach, being completed in 1891. On the back of knee panel, he handwrote: This organ was built by Thos. Dieffenbach in the year of 1890- 91 At Millersburg, Bethel, P.O., Pa. Placed in position by the builder and his sons Henry & George July 6-7-8. The tuning was completed on July 17th by the builder and his son Adam better known as Punch.
The same panel also contains the names of each congregation's pastor and council, and even the roster of choristers at that time. The organ is located in the rear gallery. Like the 1872 Dieffenbach ...[in this church], has a detached, reversed console, although fitted with the more usual sort of pedalboard.
