From The Music Trade Review, September 27, 1913: "H. P. Ecker, of Pittsburgh, Pa., on last Sunday, September 14, opened the large new Barckhoff organ in the Asbury M. E. Church, Atlantic City, N. J., with a dedicatory recital. The player as well as the instrument were enthusiastically received. and the entire service proved a great success both financially and musically. The organ was built by Carl Barckhoff, Basic City, Va."
