The core of this instrument may be the Midmer-Hook-Laws from the former St. Laurence O'Toole Roman Catholic Church in Lawrence, Massachusetts. The church was torn down in 1980 and records from Andover Organ Company reveal that the organ was sold to St. Joseph's in Medford at that time, however this cannot be confirmed. The pipework is in rough shape and an examination of the pipes did not immediately reveal any opus numbers or other identification.
Around 1995, the pipes were supplemented with a 3-man Rodgers, so it is now a Hybrid. The organ pipes and the digital additions all play from a 3-man Rodgers console which is mounted in the gallery, right hand side. All the pipes play but need attention. A Vox Humana rank is in storage inside the bottom of the left chamber.
