The organ was purchased by the Univers,olist Church of Bangor, Maine, in 1847, and was replaced there by E. & G. G. Hook, Op. 318, 1862, a large two-manual organ. The Universalists in Stockton Springs bought the 1847 Hook in 1864 for $500 and paid $125 to have it moved and set up. -- 1992 OHS Handbook
