On Easter Sundayh afternoon, 2023, the church was heavily damaged by a fire that ravaged the attic, roof, and steeple. The fate of the building and organ hangs in the balance this morning.

When the organ was installed, the church was named Swedish Evangelical Lutheran Augustana Church; it was renamed Faith Lutheran Church at some point.
