Paul R. Marchesano on January 25th, 2023:
The church [St. Andrew, Greencastle] housed a two-manual electric-action organ assembled by Arthur Carkeek of DePauw University, longtime organist of the church. This instrument burned with much of the church and its sanctuary on Sunday, July 12, 1998. Restoration work culminated in a rededication service on Sunday, February 7, 1999. Until a permanent organ was procured, the university loaned a practice instrument. -- *2007 OHS Atlas*
