The organ is encased in a gallery at the rear of the nave, in front of a rose window. In 1953 repairs to the organ cost $2,339.50. In 1976 the E.H. Holloway Corporation of Indianapolis renovated the instrument, retaining the original ventil-cone valve windchests, but electrifying the original tubular-pneumatic action. Manual compass is sixty-one notes (CC-c4); pedal compass (concave pedalboard) is thirty notes (CC-f1). The Pedal 16' Bourdon was extended by twelve pipes to produce an 8' Bourdon. -- *2007 OHS Atlas*
