Long a mission church, the congregation merged with St. George's Church, West End in 1965. The new congregation continued in the St. George building at 61st and Naudain Streets.

Known from St. Barnabas News, June 1914; accessed from Philadelphia Studies website. Article detailing the dedication of the new church along with a history of "St. Barnabas West Philadelphia," although the church was known as "St Barnbas, Haddingotn":
"A fine organ presented in part as a Memorial to the late Mrs. H. Louis Duhring Jr., by her husband, the architect oif hte church. The Carnegie Corporation of New York has promised the balance of the cost of the instrument. It is being built by Bates & Culley, of Philadelphia, and is promised for July 15."
