From The Royal Gazette (July 7, 1891): "The organ was used for the first time on Sunday morning, June 28th, at the Parade Service ... The organ has given very general satisfaction to the Garrison. It was built by Mr F. A. Peters of St. John, N.B., Canada. Mr. Peters came here to set up the Organ and to learn for himself the climactic conditions of Bermuda. All give him great praise for faithful work.
