G. Pfeffe[r] & Co., 1005—07 Marion Str., gebaut." It included a photograph of the building, a photograph of the auditorium with the organ visible in the gallery, and a drawing of the organ. (See under "Documents.") "The City" (column), *The Jewish Voice* (St. Louis), Friday, February 16, 1906, 3, Newspapers.com, accessed June 12, 2023, https://www.newspapers.com/image/569093365: A large part of this column was devoted to a "somewhat detailed" description of the new temple (with a photograph of the architect, Mr. J.L. Wees) and information about the organ. "The instrument is one of the finest in the city in looks as well as in quality of tune. [*sic*] The builders, J. G. Pffefer & Co., J. R. Heimueller, president of the Company, in consultation with Prof. Epstein and other organists, have taken special care in designing the specification." The stoplist reported 25 speaking stops and "Pipes 1420," but the total of the individual pipe counts is 1,481. (See under "Documents.") According to "B'nai El Congretation," St. Louis Genealogical Society, accessed June 10, 2023, https://stlgs.org/research-2/congregations/jewish/jewish-synagogues-and-temples/bnai-el-congregation, the congregation moved to Clara Street and Delmar Boulevard in 1930.
