The prior church building had a ca. 1893-1895 pipe organ from Germany [uncertain builder]. It's also not certain if any of that organ was reused in this build, but the facade pipes here have visibly different mouths/facings than the facade pipes of the 1890s German organ, so those older facade pipes were not kept visible.

The congregation merged with Trinity United Methodist Church in 2019, becoming Harmony United Methodist Church; the Embury building then became the home of Faith Center Freeport.
