In April 1953, the old Chapel building was offered for sale, and in May, the First Church of Christ, Scientist — located at the time in Wayne — decided to purchase it. The first service in the new building was held on October 3, 1953.

From a job listing by the church Oct 2025: "The organ was purchased in 1910 and was made by Charles S. Hazzard Pipe Organs in Philadelphia. It has 40 stops and is in excellent condition."
Known builders with the name Hazzard appear in the late 20th century. This might be confused with Charles S. Haskell. Further research warranted.

"Not long after this, [ed.:1971] the organ showed signs of needing major overhaul. After considering replacing it with a new electronic instrument, it was decided, instead, to restore this fine old pipe organ. The restoration work was done for us by Jacob Gerger."
Location was previously the old Chapel building of the Baptist Church in the Great Valley.
