Jonathon Had on December 29th, 2023:
Originally Installed in 1980, the Everett G Lytle Memorial Organ consisted of 2,256 pipes. In 1997, the organ was moved into a newly constructed sanctuary. The console was placed in the front of the new sanctuary, on the right hand side. All of the pipework was located above the altar area, with no visible pipes or swell shades. The organ was used regularly through the 2000s, but by 2010s, many parts of the organ had fallen into disrepair. The organ was removed in 2021, less than 1 year after Dave Skinner’s passing. The console was removed and destroyed, and all pipework & chests were removed and thrown away as well. Sadly there is nothing that remains of this instrument, perhaps one of the largest pipe organs ever built by Dave W. Skinner.
