From the Hamilton Spectator (November 3, 1894): "The new instrument is from the well known factory of R. S. Williams & Son, and is the first one of this firm's make to be placed in a Hamilton church ... the metal pipes are all constructed of the best spotted metal, the reed pipes of the best imported French make, and the wood pipes made of specially selected spruce."
