From The Hamilton Spectator (May 26, 1940): "On Wednesday, May 29, the Wentworth Baptist Church will celebrate the installation of a new pipe organ. Charles Franklin Legge, concert organist of Toronto, assisted by Mrs. Ada R. Legge, LTCM, soprano soloist, the Wentworth Choir under the direction of Jack L. Hood, will present a musical program in the church auditorium. The organ is a 2-manual electric instrument of 21 speaking stops and approximately 300 pipes."
