Builder was Viner & Son (1914), 3 manual ep rebuild of Hook & Hastings (Op. 1412, 1889) originally installed in St. Paul's Cathedral and subsequently installed in Sacred Heart Church.

Church built 1891, parish closed in 1985, and building was redeveloped into the King Urban Center, then into the King Center Charter School. A fire in 1947 destroyed most of the church interior, and possibly the organ. The instrument pictured could be from post-fire, or could be from earlier.
