There must be a discrepancy in the Carnegie Corp. correspondence, and Barnes & Buhl was likely a candidate for the work, but according to contemporary newspaper evidence in The Palladium (Malone, NY) the new 2-manual instrument in Centenary Methodist Church was by Tellers-Sommerhoff, who took the existing 1874 Jardine organ in trade.
Information received online from Andrew Henderson on 2025-02-26T
This entry represents the installation of a new organ. Identified through online information from Andrew Henderson (February 15, 2025): Installed at a cost of $2,600, less $100 for the existing Jardine organ, half of which was paid by Andrew Carnegie.
(Ed. Unknown if any of the Jardine pipework may have been incorporated into the new organ).
