From Niagara LaSalle Lodge 132 - HISTORY:
March 1, 1865. The organ committee, who previously had reported their inability to purchase an organ for $130.00 had taken one on trial and it proved so satisfactory the lodge voted to purchase it at a price of $170.00.

April 2, 1862. A committee was appointed to confer with the Young Men's Association and with Mr. Porter relative to renting his hall then occupied by the Y. M. A. At the April 16 meeting the lodge voted to purchase the Y. M. A. furniture for $175.00 and to rent the hall from Mr. A. H. Porter.
