Mark A. Smith on June 16th, 2025:
The church interior was renovated in 1974. (Source=parish website.) All liturgical furnishings were moved from the chancel into the nave. A decorative screen was erected to visually divide the two spaces. The Tellers pipework was relocated from the rear of the nave to a newly constructed chamber suspended from the chancel ceiling. The Tellers console, grand piano and choir seating were positioned underneath the chamber. At some point an unnamed builder added 3 ranks. The work was done in an unworkmanlike fashion. From the consultant’s report of 10/31/2011: “this organ is a nightmare mechanically. The organ chamber is full of duct tape, dryer hose, string . . . all of the hallmarks of poor quality organbuilding and maintenance.” and “The Oboe seems to be winded directly from the blower.” The church contracted with Kerner and Merchant to address the more egregious issues. See the Kerner and Merchant database entry for this same location.

Jim Stettner on May 11th, 2025:
This entry represents the installation of a new organ. Identified through online information from Mark A. Smith (May 9, 2025). Verified against Tellers opus list.
