Originally installed in Christ Church Cathedral, Louisville, Kentucky, as Schantz Op. 166 in 1953, retaining pipework from the previous 1883 Roosevelt; in 1973, Schantz rebuilt and made tonal changes as their Op. 1227; the organ was replaced by a Bedient and relocated in 1986 by Eugene Ward to St. Luke's Episcopal Church in Kearney. It was reconfigured and an Antiphonal division formed from existing pipework, with the addition of a horizontal trumpet.
