This entry represents the installation of a new organ. Identified through online information from Andrew Henderson (June 15, 2025): From The Fairport Herald (August 28, 1874): “The organ concert, which came off at the Congregational Church last evening, was an affair of more than ordinary interest in our little village. The organ was constructed by S. S. Hamill, of East Cambridge, Mass. It has 20 stops and over 700 pipes. It is cased in black walnut, and is set in an arch by the side of the pulpit.”
