Paul R. Marchesano on July 17th, 2025:
Email communication from Mark R. Fischer, 16 Jul 2025: We did indeed move the Tallman organ from Nyack to Chautauqua. I would need to dig to get the dates. We dismantled the organ and brought it back to Erie where OSI restored it. We then installed it in the Hall of Christ. It is a perfect fit for the room.

Drew Childs on July 5th, 2025:
The organ was originally built for the First Baptist Church of Nyack, New York.

Drew Childs on July 5th, 2025:
"Chautauqua’s Tallman Organ was gifted to the Institution by a New York Baptist church in 2000, after building modifications made the church unable to keep it. Although it’s more than a century old, the organ was received in pristine condition and has only warranted small modifications since, including the addition of an electric motor and rebuilding of its hand-cranking mechanism." https://chqdaily.com/2016/06/chautauquas-smaller-organ-is-the-centerpiece-of-weekly-lunchtime-concerts/
