Jeff Scofield on March 3rd, 2026:

To be relocated to the RC Cathedral of St. Patrick, Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, 2027-2029; Mrs. Milton Hershey was a benefactor and member of the parish.

Paul R. Marchesano on April 25th, 2022:

Factory voicing was complete by June 1932; the organ shipped that fall, and appears to have been finished by the close of 1932. Although Hershey publicity states that Skinner designed the organ and Harrison finished it, the truth seems to be that Sykes designed the organ and Skinner supervised it. At least according to the existing documentation, Harrison's involvement appears to have been negligible. Sykes dedicated the organ in a gala concert 1 September 1933, the thirtieth anniversary of the town 's name change to Hershey. -- 2003 OHS Handbook

Database Manager on July 3rd, 2013:

Updated through online information from Arnold Sten. -- This fine example of E.M. Skinner's work continues to go into disrepair. Since my previous update, the swell division is now unusable (1 of the 2 split chests is dead). There are now many dead notes in the floating fanfare division.

Database Manager on November 8th, 2006:

Identified through information adapted from E. M. Skinner/Aeolian-Skinner Opus List, by Sand Lawn and Allen Kinzey (Organ Historical Society, 1997), and included here through the kind permission of Sand Lawn:

Database Manager on October 27th, 2006:

Updated through online information from Arnold Sten. -- This organ is badly in need of repair. The combination action is unreliable. There are some "dead" ranks, as well as "dead" notes within certain ranks.
