This entry represents a rebuild of the church’s organ as described by William Watkins. He gives the following chronology: “The original 1957 organ was a gift from the estate of Virginia Brown. The addition in 1969 of the 32’ Pedal Contre-Hautbois [Aeolian-Skinner] was a gift from Helen Armstrong. The Austin console [Austin Organs, Inc.] (a second console, movable, located downstairs at the front of the sanctuary) was added in 1976. In 1989 four stops, the Trompette Militaire, the Great Scharf and Cromorne, and the Swell Mixture [Cannarsa Organs, Inc.] were a gift from Virginia Anderson. Finally in 1996, the congregation as a whole raised funds for the complete renovation of the organ [Di Gennaro-Hart], including a 25-level memory system for the combination action, replacement of certain mechanical parts, and a complete re-leathering of the chests and reservoirs.” Note that dates provided by Watkins are not identical to those listed in other database entries for this location. Watkins lists no couplers in his specification. However, the console image suggests that they exist. Watkins also reverses the order of Nason Flute and Holzgedeckt in both the Great and Pedal from Steven Lawson's 2017-07-15 specification for Op 1306-A.
