This entry represents the rebuilding of an existing organ. Identified through online information from Andrew Eenderson (August 22, 2025): According to the Huron Expositor (August 22, 1963): “Work was completed this week on the skill-demanding job of rebuilding, reconditioning and revoicing the organ in Northside United Church. In charge was the Holmes Organ Co. of London, and their local agent, G. A. Wright. The organ is 100 years old, and as a matter of fact, the inscription of one dulciana pipe reads ‘tuned August 1863’, so the pipes are probably much older than 100 years … the console was built in 1863 in England and sold to Metropolitan United Church in Toronto. The organ was eventually moved to Northside, but records of the date have not been kept.”
