From - The Lancaster Intelligencer Sept 28, 1818
In 1818 had just completed their new brick building and had hired Thomas Hall of Philadelphia (Germantown) to build a new organ. Before the organ was installed, Hall suffered a fire in his work shop which destroyed only one organ, that being the St. James Organ.
