As reported in the Times Leader (Wilkes-Barre, December 5, 1873): "This instrument was made by William King, of Elmira, at a cost of $2,800, is sixteen and one-half feet in height and fourteen feet wide. It has twenty-six stops and a base pedals of two octaves."
According to the Wilkes-Barre Times (May 11, 1898) this instrument was "sold to the Ashley M.E. Church for $1,000" when a new Kimball organ was installed.
