from - *The Lancaster Intelligencer* May 15, 1875 pg. 2 Article about the dedication of the church, as well as info about the building and furnishings. Basement chapel - organ by A. Pomplitz & Co Upper church - organ by Heiner & Schumacher 14 stops 1,000 pipes Organ will be replaced by a larger instrument in the future, (It is possible that August Pomplitz was to have built the upper church organ, but his death, a few months prior to the dedication of St. Anthony's, may have created a desire to allow the upper church to still have a usable organ for a while, and the basement church to also have a permanent organ. by Pomplitz Company, run by his widow and brother in law "John Otto". Schumacher had been a long time Pompliz employee, but had left just before or just after Pomplitz's death.)
