This entry represents the installation of a new organ. Identified from the Hutchings opus list as published in the Boston Organ Club Newsletter, Spring/Summer 1980, page 19. The Hutchings-Plaisted displaced a 2-manual, 1875 E. & G.G. Hook & Hastings which was relocated to the Free Will Baptist Church in Amherst, NH.

The BOC Newsletter says, ""Removed or rebuilt by W.W. Laws in 1917." It must have been 'removed' because the Austin (Op. 724) that replaced the Hutchings-Plaisted was installed in 1917.
