The Morey moved with the congregation in 1973 to a new edifice and was reinstalled. What tonal and/or mechanical changes may have taken place at that time is not known.
From the Democrat & Chronicle (January 22, 1924): βThe First Presbyterian Church has installed a new two-manual pipe organ built especially for the society by the Morey Company of Utica. In order to accommodate it perfectly an addition has been built for it in the rear of the choir loft. The front of the organ stands against the wall with the show pipes covering the arch. It is in oak finish. A very attractive feature is a set of chimes in the rear of the organ chamber operated by the lower manual. Mrs. Robert Gray is the organist.β
