Jack Umholtz on January 16th, 2026:

St. Peter's Lutheran Church was my wife's church. When dating her in 1985, she took me to the church and I spent an hour or so playing this organ and exploring the tonal resources. After marrying, I played this instrument for my brother-in-law's wedding ceremony.

The console was a beautiful small 2 manual horseshoe console and was fully enclosed in a single, stone chamber with facade pipes over in front of the swell shades. Access to the chamber was through what had been an altar window before the stone chamber was constructed.
