This entry represents the installation of a new organ. Identified through online information from Andrew Henderson [January 19, 2026]: From the Elmira Daily Advertiser (September 22, 1874): "On Thursday evening of this week at St. Matthew's Church, Horseheads, there is to be an organ concert for the purpose of showing off the new King organ recently put up in that edifice, and also to obtain funds with which to help pay for it."
