Based on an article in the Philadelphia Inquirer dated 8/29/1881, the Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, 3rd and Reed Streets, Philadelphia PA 19147 purchased the Reuben Nicholls Centennial Church Organ that had been displayed in the Main Exhibition Hall of the 1876 Centennial Exposition and had it installed in their building.
