This entry represents the installation of a new organ incorporating existing pipework. Identified through online information from Andrew Henderson [March 2, 2026]: According to Carnegie Corporation files, John Brown, the rector of Christ Church, approached Andrew Carnegie for assistance to purchase a new $3,000 organ reusing pipework from the church's existing organ. The original instrument, approximately 50 years old in 1905, was located in the rear gallery occupying a space 12 feet deep x 17 feet wide, with the desire was to move the organ near the choir in the chancel. In a letter dated October 26, 1905: "The Cole Organ Co. who are now connected in some way with the Steinart Co. are now placing the organ in our Christ Episcopal Church.
