This entry represents the installation of a new Rodgers hybrid pipe/electronic organ which utilizes 12 ranks of mostly used Reuter pipework from First Presbyterian Church in Jackson Mississippi.
From the 'History' page of the parish website, In May, 2003, Worship and Music Committee members began a study of combination pipe and digital organs. In July, 2003, the committee recommended the purchase of a Rogers 857 organ at a cost of $152,000.00. On August 10, 2003, the congregation voted to purchase the organ. Fundraising efforts began immediately.
