Andrew Henderson on May 8th, 2026:

This instrument was sold to the Baptist Church of Hornellsville, NY, in 1882, which subsequently subsequently sold it to the Baptist Church of Long Branch, NJ, in 1905. According to the Long Branch Record (September 29, 1905) the organ had "22 stops and a full set of pedals." This organ was discarded when a new Moller organ was installed with the help of Andrew Carnegie. In the Carnegie Corporation's application blank, it was stated that the organ was 65 years old, placing its construction ca. 1850.
