This instrument is: Not Extant and Not Playable in this location

Database Manager on March 19th, 2016:

Updated through online information from Kevin D. Sloop. This organ was originally installed in another location. It was moved to Salem Church in the late 1960s or early 1970s. The single manual had an 8' and 4' Principal and Flute, and a 2' Principal. Some of the manual stops were divided at various places. All manual pipes were enclosed in a swellbox, with the exception of a few 8' Principal pipes in the façade. The Pedal had a 16" Subbass and a Manual to Pedal coupler. Though an electric blower had been added to this instrument, the hand pump bellows were still intact, and could be used- if someone could be found to operated them! Salem Church, including this organ, was completely destroyed by fire on January 31, 1979.
