It is worth mentioning that the 2005 Update (above) is no longer accurate. According to the curator of the instrument: There was a time, maybe 10 years ago, when the kiosk personnel did play some short pieces in the recorder towards the end of the day. One of their staff members liked to do it. It was not a regular thing, and I don't believe Friday was special. At the present time, that would take permission from many people for a one-time event.

The original builder was Skinner Organ Company (Opus 660, 1927). Originally built for Immaculate Conception RC Church in Philadelphia, PA.
