Oboe was tenor c, not full compass. In 2016, organ relocated to the Lower Church of St. Josaphat's Basilica, Milwaukee, Wisconsin, by the Buzard Organ Company.

Updated through online information from Paul Scheeler. -- I am informed by William Aylesworth, Organist for the Scottish Rite Valley of Chicago, that in conjunction with the sale of the Scottish Rite property in December 2006 which subsequently involved the demolition of the Small Preceptory that housed this pipe organ, it was disassembled and removed by Philip Underwood of Rensselaer, IN. He has a small collection of pipe organs housed in a renovated barn. He has most of another Kimball (sometimes known as a "portable" pipe organ due to its relatively compact size). However, in his efforts to restore that one to playing condition, he needed access to a complete organ in order to know how to duplicate the missing parts. He was assisted in the relocation work by Ben Basile who also owns most of a Kimball "portable" and who also was endeavoring to duplicate missing parts. My understanding is that both these gentlemen are members of the Chicago-Midwest Chapter of The Organ Historical Society. NOTE: The large E. & G. G. Hook & Hastings pipe organ (which dates from 1875) remains in the Large Preceptory (Scottish Rite Cathedral) building, the exterior of which survived the Great Chicago Fire of 1871 and the entirety of which is listed as a Chicago Landmark, and thus presently not subject to demolition.
