Quimby Pipe Organs, Inc. rebuilt and installed this Casavant organ (Opus 553). Revoiced by Jeff Weiler and Jonathan Ambrosino. From First Baptist Church of Syracuse, New York. In the late 1980's, when the congregation moved to a new building in the suburbs, the organ was put into storage that took it from New York to Illinois to Florida to finally back again to Illinois. In 1996, the Jacksonville Symphony found it in a warehouse in Chicago and it was later delivered to Quimby Pipe Organs, Inc., in Warrensburg, Missouri, for rebuilding and restoration
