From the church history timeline:
April 12, 1929: Ground is broken for the Lower Church by Quincy-based firm Edward T. P. Graham, which bid the project for $62,5500.00.
June 1, 1930: Cardinal O'Connell blesses the Lower Church and lays the cornerstone.
March 1939: The Upper Church is completed.
[The organ] is a 1938 Wicks Organ Company organ, opus 1691, designed by Henry Vincent Willis, with restorations by the Southfield Organ Company in 2008.

The Wicks opus list indicates 41-ranks. This entry states 42-ranks. The posted stoplist indicated 43-ranks.

Twin 3m drawknob consoles. The Sanctuary organ was not working in 2000. Sanctuary organ also controlled from the Gallery console. Designed under Henry Vincent Willis.
