From the church history timeline: April 12, 1929: Ground is broken for the Lower Church by Quincy-based firm Edward T. P. Graham, which bid the project for $62,5500.00. June 1, 1930: Cardinal O'Connell blesses the Lower Church and lays the cornerstone. March 1939: The Upper Church is completed.

[The organ] is a 1938 Wicks Organ Company organ, opus 1691, designed by Henry Vincent Willis, with restorations by the Southfield Organ Company in 2008. -- information received via email from Edison Shinzawa, 2025-12-08
