This entry represents the moving and reinstallation of an existing organ to a new location in the same city. Identified from notes by Dr. Andrew Schaefer on a related OHS Database entry. The Hook & Hastings was originally built for First Methodist Church in Madison. It was relocated here ca. 1926. Unknown what - if any - tonal or mechanical changes took place at this time. In 1956, the organ was electrified by the Wicks Organ Co. as their Opus 3686.
