The church fell victim to budget shortfalls after the priest abuse scandals of the 1990's. It was deconsecrated and closed in 2005. The property was occupied by the CFX, Inc. Advertising firm in April 2021 when organist Suzanne Chisum visited and was invited to play the organ. But the power to the blowe had been shut-off or disconnected.
