Updated through online information from Kristina Powers. -- Read in parish newsletter back in November 2002 that the original 41-rank Austin was originally installed at St. Patrick's Parish in Chicago. "How it got to us (the parish) is a mystery." The newsletter article continued that it arrived to Ss. Peter and Paul [Naperville, Illinois] 80% complete with missing pipes and parts. (Database Manager. 2012-01-09).
[J.S., editor: The organ was never 41-ranks. It doesn't even have 41 speaking stops].
Information identifying this instrument from the Austin Organs, Inc. web site, accessed December 31, 2004: http://www.austinorgans.com/organ-research.htm.
