Database Manager on January 9th, 2012:

Updated through online information from Kristina Powers. -- Read in parish newsletter back in November 2002 that the original 41-rank Austin was originally installed at St. Patrick's Parish in Chicago. "How it got to us (the parish) is a mystery." The newsletter article continued that it arrived to Ss. Peter and Paul 80% complete with missing pipes and parts.

Database Manager on December 26th, 2011:

Updated through online information from Kristina Powers. -- The instrument fell into great disrepair after pipes were enclosed in boxes in 1984. In 2002, it was totally removed from the choir loft and was totally rebuilt by Fabry Pipe Organs, debuting on Christmas Eve 2002. Only 8 ranks of original pipework are maintained. 3 more were added for the brass fanfare trumpet. The organ's original and new pipework is combined with a new Allen digital instrument and new Allen Renaissance console. The instrument as a whole was custom built for Ss. Peter and Paul Parish.
