Database Manager on September 22nd, 2007:
Updated through online information from James R. Stettner. -- According to the 1966 OHS Handbook, the organ was relocated thru the Organ Clearing House in 1960 to the [Congregational] Tabernacle in Craigville, Massachusetts. It was installed there by volunteers at a cost of $87.00. The 3-sectional facade contains the first 17 pipes of the Great 8' Open Diapason and the first 4 pipes of the Great 4' Octave. While the pedalboard is flat, the sharps are radiating. Key-depth adjustment screws are located in the key cheeks. The organ was tonally altered in 1966 by Barbara J. Owen of Pigeon Cove, Massachusetts.
