Database Manager on October 21st, 2006:
Identified through online information from James R. Stettner. -- This is an essentially new instrument, but retains 17 ranks from the church's previous 1927, 4-man. Kimball. Most of the Great, the Positiv, and part of the Pedal are on new E-P slider chests. The retained Kimball ranks are almost entirely on their original E-P unit and or pitman chests. The new ranks in the Swell are on standard B and V Kilgen-style unit chests. The remote Wicks combination action which was added to the Kimball in 1959 was retained. This was later replaced by B and V with an in-console Peterson solid state system in 1992. Later tonal changes were made to the organ as well.
