Database Manager on October 30th, 2006:

Identified through on-line information from James R. Stettner. -- This was a rebuild, enlargement, and installation of the 1899 Hook & Hastings, Op. 1848, from St. Peter's R.C. in Lowell, Massachusetts. The H & H was removed from St. Peter's in March 1995 - literally just ahead of the wrecker's ball. The organ was rebuilt in stages with the first stage being the modification of the casework to fit the new building for Corpus Christi Parish, the Great, and the wind system. The case was installed in June 2003, and the Great and wind system in July. Subsequent stages would be Swell, Choir, Pedal, and Antiphonal Celestial & Celestial Pedal - plus a new 4-manual console.
