Database Manager on September 25th, 2019:
Updated by Dan Laaveg, who has heard or played the organ. In Sept/Oct 2019, the church will install a 2002 Allen digital organ to replace the 1909 Estey organ.

Updated by Dan Laaveg, who has heard or played the organ.

I play the Estey organ at First Presbyterian Church in Marengo, Iowa. I had an organ technician (Randall Karstens) come in for a tuning in November and he found the plate that said it was an Estey organ Op. 686. I am simply correcting the info that this organ is found in Marengo, Iowa, and not in Marengo, Illinois. Thank you. Here is a link to our church\'s website with info on the organ as well. https://fpcmarengoiowa.org/our-history/
- Dan Laaveg

Identified by James R. Stettner through information from the Estey Opus List, published in The Boston Organ Club newsletter, 1973-1979.
