Updated through on-line information from George Edmonds. -- Instrument was removed from original church in 1922 and reinstalled in new building on the same location Organ was rebuilt approx 1951 by Schlicker Organ company and moved to chambers on either side of the balcony. Had openings into the church and also balcony. Heavy drapes were put on the balcony side because it was to loud to the people in the balcony. When we practiced on the organ we would go up and open the curtains.
Identified by James R. Stettner through information from the Estey Opus List, published in The Boston Organ Club newsletter, 1973-1979.
